81. Wahay, outdor play in the garden! Yes, of course we've played outdoors during the Winter intermittently but this was the first real day of sunny play with just a bodywarmer and no hood! Hurray for Spring.
82. A long day in work again; I was in at 8.15 and home at 8.15, a full 12 hours in school due to parents' evening. Don't anyone try and make out that teaching is a cushy number. Home in time for a delayed bedtime, and within half an hour The Boy had completely turned himself around in bed.
83. Enjoying the news from around the world courtesy of his weekly newspaper 'First News'.
84. After a very successful parents' evening (target: pace. Nothing new there!), we went up the clifftop park for some fresh air and fun.
85. Day off today but I had to go in for Parents' evening between 4 and 8; that properly sucks on your day off! Home in time for another late bath and bedtime. Fake smile time!
86. Huzzah, the end of term! Down the beach for scooting along the pier. Can't wait for two weeks together.
87. The outlaws are visiting for Mr. TBaM's birthday last weekend and Grandma was helping The Boy play giant chess against Daddy. He did actually beat him as well!

Whenever I see a pic of the Boy sleeping I know you've had a long day. But that is looong!! Wow those parent evenings must be absolutely draining. Definitely huzzah for holidays!
Guaranteed tell tale sign; the sleeping boy!
Absolutely loving his wet hair shot and how much you get out and about blowing away cobwebs
I do seem to use that phrase rather a lot don't I? We haven't been out anywhere near as much as I'd like, but life happens!
He looks so tall and grown up in the picture on the roundabout! Love the crazy bath time hair pic, despite the fake smile! Enjoy your school holidays.
He is getting unbelievably tall now, I think he's had another growth spurt!
Ha ha ha, how awesome is that hair! Such a cool fun photo, the boy looks so pleased there! I love that boardwalk shot of him scooting. Where you live looks such a cool place to explore with boys. My two would love it.
We are fortunate to live in a wonderful town with great facilities.
Love your afternoon tea shot, my sister and I have bought our mum vouchers for afternoon tea but we're just waiting for the right time. Hope you had a great time and thanks for linking up to Project 365.
He he. Love the bath photo. X
Got to love a spiky hair photo!
It's so nice to be outdoors in the sunshine again isn't it, love the hair pic too!
Although this week has been horribly dull, grey and windy! Hoping for some sunshine over the weekend.
Huzzah for holidays indeed. Only four more days here. There are plenty of cobwebs to blow away here but dount it will be as attractive as your clifftop
How many weeks off will you be having? I can't quite fathom out Australian school holidays.
Two but just to blow your mind completely it's a state by State thing. Everyone has the long break at Christmas varies a bit after that
Wowsers, this is what has been confusing me. My brother has said about just a few weeks off when I thought you had longer. Very strange. Academic year runs alongside the calendar year as well doesn't it?
Definitely hurrah for the holidays and I fully understand your 12hr day and going on day off pain! At least we have two weeks now, just hope this damn rain stops! As always love your pics of your smiley boy – fake or not – and impressed that he's learning chess π
I am not entirely sure he understood anything that happened in chess, least of all because I kept adding helpful comments about getting the soldier to ride the horsey π
Love the scooting along the pier pic. We are looking forward to two weeks together too.
I've seen your wonderful photos, it really looks like you've been having a wonderful time.
Sounds like you've had a pretty good week, boo for working on your day off!! Love the bath photo. Enjoy the holidays π
Can't beat a frothy hair photo!
It's a great feeling to know you have two weeks to spend together now isn't it. Love the hair style in the bath.
And I really need to start actually doing stuff with him or in a week's time I'll be complaining that we've wasted it!
Gorgeous photos and I just love his bath hair π
Bath hair is always a fun thing to do!
Looks like a great week, I love the photo with the wet hair, awesome!
We have enjoyed being out in the garden too this week, it's great the weather is finally a bit nicer!
I think we spoke too soon about the weather being nice, it's horrible at the moment!
I can imagine parents nights are so draining for a teacher. Love the bath photo & great photos x
It is very hard saying different versions of the same thing 15 times in a row.
Looks like a busy week with extra long days for you. Hope you both really enjoy your Easter break!
It is wonderful at the moment, thanks.
Loving the funky bath hair picture π hope you have a lovely break over the Easter holidays x #project365
Thanks, thoroughly enjoying it at the moment, hope you are too?
love the bath photo! rock n roll hair!
Absolutely! And I didn't contrive it AT ALL!
(Totally did)
I used to love bath time with my kids and making their hair stand up in silly shapes
A complete and utter must, that's what bathtimes are for!
Absolutely love the promenade photo, such a great perspective.
I did get a few odd looks kneeling down to take it.
Oh we love to get outdoors too despite the weather.
Some lovely outdoor snaps there especially at the park.
Loving his bath hair too! π
I'm normally much better at getting outdoors but the cold weather has really stopped me recently.
ours don't break up till Thursday. Love to see wee boys with hair, Bob always looks like a little thug with his skinheads.
I think a lot of us think teaching is a cushy job, but don't care how cushy or well paid it is or is not I could NOT be a teacher, I would want to discipline the horrors and take home the unkept ones.
Look forward to seeing some out and about pics.
He desperately needs his hair cut but I'm wary as so many hairdressers ruin it. Teaching is not the cushy number people think; I'm in at 8 and home at 6 on the three days I work, with many hours in the evenings too.
Loving his hair shot! Enjoy your break!
We've had a good week so far, hoping for more fun and games.
Oh he is looking so grown up all of a sudden – loving the mad hair!
He has had another growth spurt I think, getting far too tall.
Teaching? Now that IS a cushty job. Only working 9 till 3, a billion days annual leave..don't get me started on how much they get paid! £££££
Have you punched your screen yet? or you just waiting until the next time you see me?
On a serious note I keep debating putting my photos in a similar format. Any reason you do it like this?
L
HA! Just HA!
You must be exhausted but glad you're getting a chance for more outdoors. My two favourites are the funky bath hair and the scooting on the pier.
They're my two favourites as well, although I definitely need more outdoor photos.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
Love the wet hair one. Enjoy your holiday. xx
I think that bath time hair photo is currently my favourite of the boy
Loving the funky hairstyle!! There are lots of concentration shots in there – looks like he is really focussing well π
Love the bath hair pic π Giant Chess is so much fun, my older 2 love playing. Can't beat a scoot on the pier to blow away the cobwebs!
Love the bath photo π How wonderful to be outside again so much, love all your outdoor pics, especially scooting on the pier x
It sounds like you've had a busy week….Lovely photos!
Enjoy the holidays x
I hope you enjoy your two weeks off. It sounds like you had a busy week at work. My SIL is a teacher and she never stops!
Hope you have a good two weeks off. Our teachers all looked like they needed the break! Love the hair photo! π
I love the scooting pic, and the bath time picture made me chuckle. Enjoy your Easter holidays together! x
Loving the bath hair. Hope you're enjoying the holidays so far…fingers crossed the weather improves enough to make the most of it
another busy week, be lovely to enjoy some time together now over the Easter holidays. I love his bath hair – it looks so tall, well long and he looks very happy with it! making sandcastles in the garden is fun x
Best bath hair ever!! Have a lovely Easter x
I love that The Boy reads the newspaper! We love funny bath time hair too!
