Anyone who has read any reviews on my blog will know that the statement above is true. I am a massive fan of Orchard Toys and think that they really are the leading producers of educational games and puzzles in the UK at the moment; long-lasting, sturdy, attractive, environmentally friendly and fun, you'd be hard pushed to find a better brand.
Orchard Toys have another fantastic game out called 'Where's My Cupcake?'. Aimed at 3-9 year olds and for 2-4 players, the game is based around collecting the most cupcake cards and focuses on promoting manners during play. Included in the box is a cupcake guide to remind children of the ten cupcakes used in the game, but on the back is a recipe so you can make your own yummy cakes.
- Encourages observation, matching and counting skills (pre-mathematical skills)
- Links with Early Learning Goals and National Curriculum Key Stage 1
- Develops social communication, sharing, co-operation and manners
Yet again, Orchard Toys have produced a winning game proving much social interaction and fun for all the family. Available directly or through various toy stores for £7.50.
