The Gallery is back now that Tara is fully recovered and the theme this week is 'Morning'.
We've lapsed recently in our habit of having a nice Sunday breakfast together before going out for a few hours, but this weekend I decided to revive our little tradition. And if it needed a blog-prompt to do so, then that is not really an issue for me, it meant that I had lovely food for breakfast.

that coffee looks good
That looks like heaven! I wish my breakfasts were like that!
It takes effort to not let people just grab a bowl of cereal but one day a week it's nice to do this.
Mmmm that looks like a lovely Sunday kind of breakfast! And real butter too!
Most definitely, but only on a special breakfast.
Nomnomnom, I want Sunday breakfast at mine to be like at your place. Looks lovely and warm and the perfect start to a Sunday.
The sun was streaming through the patio doors, we have a perfectly south facing garden.
Wow that is all so organised! I love weekend breakfasts as we are all together and there is no rushing or shouting!
I love them for that too, the chance to chat about your day and plan how it's going to pan out.
Yummy! I may have to start up this tradition on a Sunday.
Do it, it's great fun.
Great post.
We always say that at the weekends we should make an effort and have a nice breakfast, never seems to happen though. x
Try and fit one in as they are so much fun, Sunday is easier than a Saturday for us.
Wow, and napkins too!!!!!! I'm coming over…
Definitely napkins too!
mmmmmm, that looks very good!
I recognise that Hungry Little Caterpillar plate – Sprogzilla has one too!
Your entry this week is along the same lines as mine. Except yours was actually edible.
Oh dear, that good hey? I'll pop over and have a look now.
lol, mine was wooden so I don't think eating it would have done me much good!
oooh what a perfect start to the day x
It really was!
Oh, you are so good! Napkins and everything! You are totally inspiring me to make meal times more welcome
XxX
Based on one breakfast and one tea? Ok then!
Oooh a proper breakfast. I was just wondering how your after photo still had a bun left on the plate – wouldn't happen in my house.
That was The Boy's but he didn't eat it after he'd had half a muffin. It went back in the packet for the next day.
Mmm lovely!
Our weekends are like this with scrambled eggs, beans and toast. That's a very nice looking brekkie there.
I tend to alternate between continental breakfast as above or a cooked breakfast. But that involves sausage and bacon and I often burn the bacon! Croissants are easier!
Yum, breakfast at your house looks lovely! I can't believe there is a lone chocolate brioche left though!!
It was The Boy's as he chose to have a muffin instead.
I could do with that very spread right now. Sans coffee, as I'm more of a tea drinker. Can I request tea instead next time?! x
You can, builders' or Earl Grey?
