Looks like he's saying, "mummy, what does that one do?"
He looks cool sat at the black-and-whites!
March 13, 2011 at 8:37 pm
He looks really comfortable doesn't he? So sweet seeing his little legs swinging back and fore on the piano stool.
March 13, 2011 at 8:22 am
Shame we can't hear the soundtrack so we missed him say "and that one's e flat"…
Then he'd be better than me! I haven't got a clue!

Oh the concentration! Did it sound as cute as it looks then?
March 13, 2011 at 8:31 am
Lovely, Will he learn to play? I think learning an instrument is a lovely thing for children to do, if they want to.
March 13, 2011 at 8:38 pm
He will, it's one of the things that I can say definitely that he will do. I can't play any instruments, neither can hubby, and I think it is so important.
March 13, 2011 at 8:33 am
Wow he looks like he's already properly playing and concentrating. Is he already having lessons?
March 13, 2011 at 8:39 pm
Nooo! Have asked the music co-ordinator in school and apparently they need to be able to read on a basic level first.
March 13, 2011 at 8:41 am
He's all over the piano playing. Looks like he's being doing it for years. Concentration and determination in equal measures there!
Oh yes, very determined!

March 13, 2011 at 8:40 pm
Got to express yourself haven't you?
March 13, 2011 at 9:44 am
We need to get this pic and my Silent Sunday from last week together…they would make a great double act xx
As long as they don't push each other off the piano stool!
March 13, 2011 at 10:04 am
Gorgeous – bet the sound was special too
March 13, 2011 at 8:41 pm

March 13, 2011 at 11:35 am
Oh my word, he is SO handsome! Loving the facial expression and concentration, just gorgeous. x
Thank you, he is rather scrummy.
March 13, 2011 at 11:36 am
Love that, like he wants to push just one more key before he has to stop playing!
That was exactly it; just one more key!

March 13, 2011 at 12:05 pm
No pressure then
He looks very content at the piano! Love to see!
March 13, 2011 at 12:09 pm
You have earplugs, yes? Just for those moments where he thinks hitting the keys as hard as possible is the MOST fun!
March 13, 2011 at 8:42 pm
He can't lift the lid so it will not be unsupervised for a time. It's the first time he's been on it, I've held it back 'til now.
But yes, I have earplugs
March 13, 2011 at 2:29 pm
That is a gorgeous photo. So much easier to learn when you are young too
March 13, 2011 at 8:43 pm
I want it to be something he enjoys exploring and wants to play with, so that when the time comes for lessons it's quenching his thirst.
March 13, 2011 at 2:52 pm
Love that! ;o)

March 13, 2011 at 8:34 pm
wonderful to have a piano
March 13, 2011 at 8:47 pm
I work now in the primary school that I attended as a child. This is the old infant school piano that was used in assemblies when I was there. The old headteacher sold it to me for £100! I can't play, but I snapped it up knowing that I want my children to play!
It was stained terribly with 30 years worth of mug-rings and took us 3 days to sand it down.

bless him. My boys love playing our piano but he looks like he's being very refined not just banging away like mine do! x
It was the first time, I'm sure there's plenty of opportunity in the future for banging away!
