That Holiday Feeling with the Taste of Iberia (Review)

One of our favourite holiday destinations pre-The Boy was Barcelona, sitting on Las Ramblas in the early evening, supping a glass of sangria and muching on yummy tapas while watching the street artists trying to tempt the tourists with their wares. It was utter bliss and I couldn't have felt more relaxed with the 'on holiday' feeling if I'd tried.

As we are the proud honours of expired passports and our priorities in the early evening now consist of bathing a five year old and dealing with bedtime, authentic tapas is just a memory.

However with the beautiful sunshine this week, I wanted to resurrect that feeling and so popped to our local Lidl for some of their limited edition Iberian range.

The 365 linky only works because of people linking to it and then contributing their thoughts to others' posts via comments. I can't emphasise this enough, it's the whole point of the linky!

Join in by entering the URL of your favourite photograph of the week (either a 52 or a 365 photo) and show some comment love to everyone else in the community. We've got a Facebook group, and now I've created a collaborative Pinterest board (if you'd like to collaborate, let me know and I'll add you).

  1. Choose your favourite photo from the past week and link it up below.

Top Tips For A Successful Bedtime Story

TomTom have recently conducted a study which shows that 65% of parents believe that reading to their child is important for their progression, yet a third of parents never read their child a bedtime story.

Making Celebrations More Special (Review)

A few weeks ago we celebrated Mr. TheBoyandMe's 40th birthday, something he'd been avoiding and was also inevitably going to arrive on the 20th March regardless. He wasn't particularly keen on a huge celebration but it's not possible to let a big birthday go by without a little bit of a fuss being made, despite the bronchitis and laryngitis he had developed.

Small World Play: Cars and Tunnels

Last year we had a new fridge freezer delivered and it came in an enormous box which The Boy immediately claimed as his own with his toy cars. Digging out the paints and some props, we set to turning it into a small world haven which is still played with weekly. In fact last week I tried to get it into the recycling, but The Boy cried and I'm a soft mum.
