Days 285 – 291 of Project 365

Days 285 - 291 of Project 365

285. Got One Mummy! (Pumpkin picking at our local PYO farm.)

286. Snuggled Up (Monday = 8-6 work day = tired mummy = sleeping boy photo.)

287. Mummy's Little Helper (So much work to do in school, that laminating letters for display is kept for at home in the evening. Only tonight I had so much to do that I needed to enlist The Boy's help; he laminated while I cut out.)

288. The Next Chapter (The Boy is doing so well with his reading that I've invested in a box of chapter books for him, Francesca Simon classics from The Book People.)

289.Β Freedom (An after-school scoot on the pier is just the thing to blow the cobwebs away.)

290. Swoop (After-school pop down to the nature reserve to feed the swans. Unfortunately the swans were slow to cotton on and the seagulls nabbed most of it.)

291. The Three Musketeers (After circus skills today we went to the cinema with The Boy and his cousins to see Dolpin's Tail 2. It was good, but very long.)

what are you doing with the pumpkin? Its amazing how they come on with their reading and move on to "proper" books, well done The Boy. Bob is making his way through the Harry Potter Books on his kindle, they don't look so big that way. He is allowed to watch the films after he has finished the books so a great incentive to finish.
Love your pier pic, looks almost 1920's b&w film except for the bouy.
Round here the swans and ducks are fed to often to be hungry.

Thanks, basically they were boring so needed jazzing up with editing!

Love your last photo, such genuine, cheesiness!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Love him with that Pumpkin – can't wait to see what you do with it. Looks like a wonderful week – those birds would have freaked me out!

Lovely photos – I am really impressed with The Boy's reading – I am still waiting for my daughter to develop that love of immersing herself in a book like that πŸ™ He looks so pleased with himself in the pumpkin picture too!
