Tara has set us a real challenge this week:
This week's theme is: Phone Photos.
The only rule is you have to have taken it on your phone. Doesn't matter what app you use. Camera phones have moved on so much and I've seen some quite stunning photos from these little in-your-pocket devices! So there is never any excuse for now snapping whenever you're out and about.
And while Tara has waxed lyrical about the wonders of Instagram and the camera on her iPhone, I have an HTC Desire. The interface of the phone is amazing. The camera? Horrendous. Really, really awful! Plus, the Android apps for the photography are naff. (Although if someone can point me in the direction of a decent one, I'd appreciate it)
However saying all that, I will share with you some of my favourite photos that I've taken on my rubbish camera-phone. They are unedited because the brief says it has to be done on your phone and I can't find a good app to do that, so here are the raw images:
He's just woken up from a nap and decided that I'd put something I shouldn't have in the laundry basket. Within the next thirty seconds after this photo being taken, he almost fell in!

That last pic is just gorgeous. Love the one where he is looking at his shadow too, it's so cute how kids are fascinated by it, pure innocence.

Pics are lovely. Try "Camera 360 Ultimate" app, I really like it over the stock app and "photo editor" to edit photos on the phone

Great moments captured – I particularly love the one of the shadow and the first one has such a lovely 'mist' to it and made me smile. The last photograph is also very lovely.

Try Little Photo instead, it seems to have way more filters than Instagram anyway!

I thought my HTC Desire camera was okay and you photos are fine. Do you clean the lens often?

Mine aren't as good as these, I do clean the lens yes. Mine's an original Desire, have you got one of the newer models? The S or something?
they are all lovely examples of capturing the 'moment'.i am hard pressed to pick a fav but I do love the one of him in his vest (the knees) and discovering his shadow and the final one is gorgeous too xx

The last one is really lovely! I used to have an HTC and I really didn't like taking photos with it either, so I totally relate on that one 🙂
It's just such rubbish quality, never can take decent photos on it!
