Days 67 – 73 of Project 365

Days 67-73 of Project 365

67. We headed to the beach to blow the cobwebs away and picked up my nephew on the way. I love seeing The Boy and his cousin racing around on the beach.

68. I presented The Boy with an engineering challenge after school and I love the look on his face here, the set of his jaw, the chubby double chin and the four eyebrows in concentration.

69. Mondays and Tuesdays are mummy-guilt time as The Boy has to come up to my classroom after school while I do my work, and it makes me feel horrendous. This is him running off some steam on the playground.

70. Reading his weekly newspaper, 'First News'.

71. A dreadful night for The Boy, he has a horrendous sore throat and cough; it sounds like he has bronchitis. Unsurprisingly he was off school today, and when we went upstairs at one point, I found him lying in his bed reading a book, until it got all too much for him!

72. Again The Boy was off school, and we managed to have a game of Boxes, my favourite childhood game.

73. Rubbish day again; The Boy even begged not to go to circus skills! He's spent all day with absolutely no energy and so very tired.

Sorry to hear he's been poorly and hope he feels better today. Love the photo of The Boy with his cousin.
You shouldn't feel guilty about him being with you after school a couple of days a week. At least he's with you, I'm sure many parents would prefer that to their child being in after-school club or with a childminder.

I love your photos this week, every one is full of warm Spring light; hurray for daffodils and outdoor play!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Oh dear the poor boy – he does not have much luck with his illnesses does he? :(
I adore the first photo what a great shot and I also love his concentraton face.
You shouldn't feel bad about him coming up to you after school twice a week, it gives him a chance to explore the grounds and have them all to himself and at least he is with you :) xx

Actually this is the first Winter I've managed to keep the dreaded ear infections at bay! None so far. Last Winter/Spring he had 5 ear infections, slapped cheek, scarlet fever (twice), and gastroenteritis (twice). This Winter he's had a few sniffles and one sickness.

poor Boy, not having a great time illness wise.
I dont think hanging around at school will do him much harm, he can always have some of his own stuff to do with him.
We play boxes with pen and paper, never seen it as an actual game.
    His concentration picture is brilliant.

Sorry to hear The Boy isn't feeling too well at the moment, there are some horrible bugs going around that just seem to linger! I used to love Boxes too πŸ™‚

Love these photos of the boy.. I spotted him briefly at Blog Conf and it felt like I'd spotted someone famous as I'm so used to seeing his adorable face on here. I don't often find time to comment but I do love your pics. Hope you and sis/family are doing ok.xx
