Tales of the unexpected with The Boy, my pride and joy.

I took The Boy to see a new playgroup (nursery really) today. He only goes one day a week at the moment and only then since January. When we signed up to the one he uses, it was the middle of Winter and I didn't think about the fact that it hasn't got any outdoor space. Now the Summer is (apparently) on its way, I want him to be able to play outside and enjoy himself. Furthermore, I've just discovered him singing "Jesus' love is very wonderful" and as he's not Christened for a reason, I can only assume he's learnt it in one place.
While I was having a look around, he made this with one of the nursery nurses. He starts there next week!
This week I'm testing out the camera capabilities on the iPad3 that we bought on the weekend. It's got a 5MP camera on it, which is 1MP more than my dSLR. I know which one I prefer…

We went to Cardiff Museum today and visited the art gallery with the specific intention of looking at the Monets there. He was entranced by the paintings, possibly as much as he was by the echo.
This is for a forthcoming art project initiated by RedTedArt, keep your eyes peeled!

This isn't the best shot in the world; it was taken on my camera phone which doesn't cope well with movement or indoor lighting, both of which are here in abundance. However, I've chosen this one today because of who is in it: The Boy and his two cousins that he adores. Boy Cousin (6) was happy as Larry on the ride-on, Girl Cousin? Well, she's nearly 9 and wasn't very impressed with the situation, and who can blame her?
