One of the top presents that children ask for every years are bikes and scooters; timeless classics which stand the test of time against the plethora of electronic devices bombarding our children every Christmas. Father Christmas knows this and that's why he's always happy to read letters from children asking for bicycles, scooters or skateboards, even more so because I'm sure he has races with the elves testing them out first!

'Be Safe, Be Seen' Campaign

As a child I had dreadful road sense, to the point that I was 13 years old before my mum let me walk down our street and cross the road to go shopping in the town centre with my friend. I honestly had no awareness of cars around me, or the speed at which they could travel. I remember walking home with this friend, and our elder sisters from the school bus stop one Winter's day, and my friend's sister having to grab my arm and yank me back from the oncoming bus.

Literally no road safety awareness.

Free-Range Family Fun In February: A Break Away in Bosinver

Every time the dreariness of November descends, I start looking towards our planned holidays for next year. The darkness and monochrome world is descending, the sparkle of Christmas hasn't really started yet and I need something to look forward to.

Fortunately, we've recently been invited to stay at Bosinver Farm Cottages in Cornwall, and I was very eager to book our break for February half-term.
