These traditional Italian biscuits are made from a combination of a caramel biscuit mix crammed full of fruit and nuts, and a thick chocolate base. Topped with edible gold decorations, they are the perfect home-made Christmas gift.
'Be Safe, Be Seen' Campaign
As a child I had dreadful road sense, to the point that I was 13 years old before my mum let me walk down our street and cross the road to go shopping in the town centre with my friend. I honestly had no awareness of cars around me, or the speed at which they could travel. I remember walking home with this friend, and our elder sisters from the school bus stop one Winter's day, and my friend's sister having to grab my arm and yank me back from the oncoming bus.
Literally no road safety awareness.
Project 365 #47
Welcome to 365 Photo A Day Project linky. This linky covers round-up posts for the week or one of your favourite photos of the week. I've written a post providing tips for completing the project, always ask one of the regulars for help if you're stuck.
The 365 linky only works because of people linking to it and then contributing their thoughts to others' posts via comments. I can't emphasise this enough, it's the whole point of the linky!
Join in by entering the URL of your favourite photograph of the week (either a 52 or a 365 photo) and show some comment love to everyone else in the community. We've got a Facebook group, and now I've created a collaborative Pinterest board (if you'd like to collaborate, let me know and I'll add you).
- Choose your favourite photo from the past week and link it up below.
- Please add the badge to your linked-up post so that other people know how to find all the other fabulous entries.
- If you can spare five minutes to comment on a few other entries I know they'd appreciate it!

Days 320 – 326 of Project 365
Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race (Review)
The Boy is a huge fan of cars, particularly the collection of Hot Wheels walltracks sets that he's collected over the past couple of years. He particularly likes that he can stand and play with the walltracks sets as opposed to lying on the floor, and it makes racing the cars a lot easier. Wall-mounted tracks are also space-saving and don't take up valuable floor space!
We've been sent the latest addition to the Walltracks collection; the Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race set, and of course The Boy couldn't wait to get it attached to the wall and start playing with it.
Free-Range Family Fun In February: A Break Away in Bosinver
Every time the dreariness of November descends, I start looking towards our planned holidays for next year. The darkness and monochrome world is descending, the sparkle of Christmas hasn't really started yet and I need something to look forward to.
Fortunately, we've recently been invited to stay at Bosinver Farm Cottages in Cornwall, and I was very eager to book our break for February half-term. We're not afraid of wet weather exploration and adventures, and what better way than to settle down in the heart of Cornwall on a family farm, armed with wellies and waterproof macs?
Christmas from Yankee Candle (Review)
I'm becoming very excited for Christmas; creating the right atmosphere in the house with lights, decorations and fragrances really adds to the magical time. I've been sent a few items from Yankee Candle recently which are going to help fill the house with the scents of the season; vanilla, cinnamon, apple, gingerbread, nutmeg, marshmallow, cookies and cranberries.
