Welcome to 365 Photo A Day Project linky. This linky covers round-up posts for the week or one of your favourite photos of the week. I've written a post providing tips for completing the project, always ask one of the regulars for help if you're stuck.

The 365 linky only works because of people linking to it and then contributing their thoughts to others' posts via comments. I can't emphasise this enough, it's the whole point of the linky!

Join in by entering the URL of your favourite photograph of the week (either a 52 or a 365 photo) and show some comment love to everyone else in the community. We've got a Facebook group, and now I've created a collaborative Pinterest board (if you'd like to collaborate, let me know and I'll add you).

Beach Art

On a wonderfully sunny day a week or two back, we met some friends at our local beach for some 'seaglass hunting'. Our local beach is a great mix of lovely round pebbles and newly uncovered sand, and at low tide we even have rock pools with tiny crabs and sea anemones to marvel upon.

I have a new hobby!

For quite some time now I've fancied having a go at making a crocheted blanket, and had the idea to make it for my sister to cheer her up and keep her warm during her chemotherapy. However, I've not managed to get around to it because I've thought it harder than it is. Yesterday (the first day of her treatment), I decided to peruse YouTube for some tutorials. After a while I managed to find a good selection and it's fair to say that I'm not 'hooked'.

Family Breaks in The Royal Garden Hotel, London (Review)

The Boy adores going to London, he thinks it's a really special place to visit because of the variety of things we get to do. We usually visit in the Summer and spend time wandering through the parks and enjoying the great outdoors. I had been eager for quite some time to visit London at Christmas time so we could see the lights and the wonderful shop displays.

A few weeks before Christmas, this was made possible when we were invited to stay at The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington for the weekend. I have to say it is quite possibly one of the most luxurious, and child-friendly, hotels I've stayed in with one of the most amazing views over London.
