Peppa Pig: International Day

Who doesn't know and love Peppa Pig? The loveable, cheeky piggy is The Boy's firm favourite, meaning that we've been to Peppa Pig World twice! Watching Peppa and George is the guaranteed way to get him to do anything. He's so obsessed that he now calls himself George Pig, Mr. TheBoyandMe is Daddy Pig and I am Mummy Pig.

We've recently been sent Peppa's new DVD to review which makes me a happy mummy (there are only so many times that I can watch her buy new red shoes), and The Boy a happy George Pig.

In Peppa Pig: International Day & Other Stories, we join Peppa Pig and her little brother George for the title episode, where Peppa and all her friends at playgroup dress up as different countries from all over the world. It's a really lovely episode promoting global awareness and diversity, along with tolerance and understanding. A very nice introduction to the concept of other nationalities.

There are ten fabulous episodes including:

  • International Day (lovely episode about tolerance and getting along)
  • Shake Rattle and Bang (Daddy Pig showing his talents again)
  • Mr Fox's Van (I think he's my new favourite character!)

and a bonus episode called 'Paper Aeroplane' (The Boy's new favourite activity with Mr. TheBoyandMe).

Peppa Pig: International Day & Other Stories will be released by Entertainment One on 24th October 2011 for Β£12.99
