He will, it's one of the things that I can say definitely that he will do. I can't play any instruments, neither can hubby, and I think it is so important.
I work now in the primary school that I attended as a child. This is the old infant school piano that was used in assemblies when I was there. The old headteacher sold it to me for Β£100! I can't play, but I snapped it up knowing that I want my children to play!
It was stained terribly with 30 years worth of mug-rings and took us 3 days to sand it down.
It's just like your #FlashbackFriday post! Precious…what a gorgeous face your Boy has! π
Karin
Thank you! I adore it
Look at that concentration!! Love it!
Awwww its great to start them young!
Looks like he's saying, "mummy, what does that one do?" π
He looks cool sat at the black-and-whites!
He looks really comfortable doesn't he? So sweet seeing his little legs swinging back and fore on the piano stool.
Shame we can't hear the soundtrack so we missed him say "and that one's e flat"…
Then he'd be better than me! I haven't got a clue!
Oh the concentration! Did it sound as cute as it looks then? π
Very!
Lovely, Will he learn to play? I think learning an instrument is a lovely thing for children to do, if they want to.
He will, it's one of the things that I can say definitely that he will do. I can't play any instruments, neither can hubby, and I think it is so important.
Wow he looks like he's already properly playing and concentrating. Is he already having lessons?
x
Nooo! Have asked the music co-ordinator in school and apparently they need to be able to read on a basic level first.
He's all over the piano playing. Looks like he's being doing it for years. Concentration and determination in equal measures there!
Oh yes, very determined!
Love the concentration on his adorable face π sooooo cute x
Bless him x
What a great picture, very clever little man!
A genius in the making! x
Gorgeous! x
Music at such a young age – FANTASTIC! And a great shot to boot, love the expression on his face!
Got to express yourself haven't you?
We need to get this pic and my Silent Sunday from last week together…they would make a great double act π xx
As long as they don't push each other off the piano stool!
Gorgeous – bet the sound was special too
It was, sounded gorgeous. Bet the neighbours thought so too π
He already looks an expert! I love it
Hehehe looks like a bit of an expert already!
Great picture!
Looks like he knows what he's doing π awww so cute
Pianos make such great toys. Every home should have one!
Oh my word, he is SO handsome! Loving the facial expression and concentration, just gorgeous. x
Thank you, he is rather scrummy.
Love that, like he wants to push just one more key before he has to stop playing!
Gorgeous photo!
That was exactly it; just one more key!
That's fantastic, I have a similar picture of my niece π
Love this. My sons love the piano too, just you watch he'll be better than Mozart before you know it!
Awwwww Bless him! Fab photo x
No pressure then π
He looks very content at the piano! Love to see!
You have earplugs, yes? Just for those moments where he thinks hitting the keys as hard as possible is the MOST fun!
He can't lift the lid so it will not be unsupervised for a time. It's the first time he's been on it, I've held it back 'til now.
But yes, I have earplugs π
That is a gorgeous photo. So much easier to learn when you are young too π
I want it to be something he enjoys exploring and wants to play with, so that when the time comes for lessons it's quenching his thirst.
Love that! ;o)
such a cutie are you teaching him
Only in so much as 'this is how you press the key' π
Ahhh, so sweet! I hope T plays when he gets older! x
Wow he looks like he knows what he's doing!
Love his concentration and that he is reaching out for the furthest keys.
Oh I love this photo! So precious x
Thank you, it is.
Gorgeous. Give him lots of encouragement!
CJ xx
I most certainly intend to π Thanks!
What a superstar! Fantastic picture, proper concentration on that face! Wonderful hobby to take up!x
And I think one that will stand him in good stead when he is older in a variety of situations.
Elton John eat your heart out! Bless him x
Look at the concentration on his face bless him! Emma
Yey way to go little man

bless him. My boys love playing our piano but he looks like he's being very refined not just banging away like mine do! x
It was the first time, I'm sure there's plenty of opportunity in the future for banging away!
Such concentration – fantastic!
I love the expression on his face. "I'm going to press…this one…" *PLINK*
