Days 271 – 277 of Project 365

Days 271 - 277 of Project 365

It's a black and white week this week, the photos are that bad, they need the help of monochrome!

271. Black Panther (We've really been sent a Hama beads set from Craft Merrily, and The Boy has asked to make all the different big cats there are. We decided to make a Black Panther and research them finding out loads of facts.)

272. Questionable Reading Material?(Lovely title, hey? It's actually the new Dr. Ranj magazine from CBeebies which The Boy had as a treat and loves it.)

273. Practise Makes Perfect (New spellings from school and The Boy was more busy practising his cursive handwriting, he didn't pay attention to the spellings. Luckily he had them all right.)

274. Swirly (I was lucky enough to attend a photography workshop in Cardiff, developing my understanding of night-time photography. Great fun with light photography and 'ghosting'.)

275. Cordon Bleu (The Boy had a playdate after school with a friend from his previous school. The boys get on really well, and were busy making mudpies galore.)

276. Red! (I'm sorry, but Christmas is coming! I went to a cheap shop to buy one thing and spent over Β£20 on Christmas bits and bobs.)

277. The Sunshine(A very boring week of monochrome and then there's this little boy who just lights up my heart.)

I love the contrast between the black and white photos and then your lovely boy shining in full colour.
Can I just say – damn Christmas! Seen so many people buying their first Christmas bits this week. My head will be firmly in the sand until the middle of November!

Nah, he looks like my dad actually. Love the Autumn photo in your selection, such beautiful colours.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Christmas is creeping into this project elsewhere – not impressed πŸ˜‰ Love the swirly shot – I'm in desperate need of some camera training – maybe a crash course at Dyrham??! πŸ™‚

I love that your wee boy lights up your heart that is a fab picture, bright and smiley. Great that he still meets up with a friend from the last school.
Like your swirly picture, and bah humbug to Christmas

I honestly don't think this is a bad set of pics at all. I love the one of the boy writing, such concentration on his face. But, that last picture is gorgeous. x

I never realised all the different shades of black and white and all the different effects they could give. Lovely photos and I love the swirly thing and the last very smiley colourful pic! πŸ™‚

The light painting effect is very clever. You have summed it up perfectly with the final shot too – the colour works so well against the monochrome background and makes him the focus – as he should be! Gorgeous smile that he has! x
