It most certainly did not! He was a little concerned but I informed him that bottoms could be cleaned and I had spare clothes.

Im with the others, his welly gets stuck and comes off
His wellies stayed firmly on, his bottom stayed firmly in the mud once he'd fallen in it!

Welly boot didn't get stuck, he fell backwards in the mud = dirty bottom.
